Solar Dance Company first started as 'The Afan Lido School of Dance' at the Afan Lido in September 1994.
Over the years, we have become involved with various charity events, including Pontardawe Festival which had S4C coverage, pantomimes, competitions such as Britain's Got Talent and IDO Welsh Championships, and our own bi-annual shows.
Competition success over the past few years include:
Lollipop Girls - 1st Place in IDO Welsh Championships Go Girls - 3rd Place in Our Kind Of People Sherbet Pops - 1st Place & 2nd Place in Search For A Star Lollipop Girls - 1st Place & 3rd Place in Swansea Festival Lollipop Girls - 1st Place in Search For A Star
We have also had much success with our soloists, who have won medals in various competitions.
